area of monastiraki-plaka-thisio-psiri (tourists areas)

Strictly tourist areas is Plaka, Monastiraki, Theseion and the region of Psiri you ll find too many cafeterias , full of tourists but also locals.
We start from the monastiraki square at the metro , the most tourist area of Athens with the market at Hephaestus street for tourists and locals. .
While we walk down to Hephaestus street the first street we meet on our right is Normanou so we go right for a couple of meters and there , there is a uniqye cafe - bar, is like an old neighborhood of Athens, a large area with small rooms all around hosting art exhibitions.

Going to Hephaestus day time left on the street is NAME Dioscuri, a coffee under mulberry trees and over the train tracks
The locals prefer to drink coffee when there is good day /. Further down adrianoy road yo will meet many cafes and restaurants until you get to 7 minutes in the metro station of Thesio then u go left in Ilia Poulopoulou street , it is a real big pedestrian street and there u ll find some street artists who sales really nice hand made things , support them !
As you walking in the same street soon the name will change to Apostolou Pavlou you will see many cafes you can either go up some more or ( you ll end up near syntagma ) or you turn right at the street Irakleidon where you will find many cafes/bars gathered worth a drink or coffee in the stable which is an old stable , and certainly towards to the end of the road it is
few nice bars .
Here you ll meet more locals and if u sit in a cafe at Irakleidon street u ll to watch the "brides" pass you can go day or night but not too late.
