if u r planning to stay for a long time u better buy a new sim card and put it into ur mobile phone ...u can get it from a kiosk and the best copmanys are cosmote, vodafone , and wind . u can also buy a phonecard which u can use in the cardphones , they are everywhere and not that expencive to call from there.u know that if u have the same phone company with ur friends , u pay less .
about internet now
wifi is free in Syntagma square and kotzia square for sure .Most of people visit the internet coffes we have here and u pay by the hour from 1,50 euro till 3.If u have a laptop u might find an unlocked network everywhere in athens and dont forget that many cafeterias have internet wifi 4 free , so enjoy ur coffee and stay update !
